NOT FASHION. A MINDSET

Don’t Let Your 9 to 5 Kill Your Calling

There’s nothing wrong with working a 9 to 5. It pays the bills. It builds discipline. It teaches responsibility.

But what’s dangerous is letting it convince you that your passion doesn’t matter.

If something keeps pulling at you — an idea, a dream, a vision — that’s not random. That’s your calling. And if you ignore it long enough, you’ll feel it. You’ll feel it when you think, “What if?” years from now.

If you don’t know what your passion is yet, that’s okay. Try things. Try singing. Try sports. Try starting something. Try creating. If you don’t like it, move on. That’s not failure — that’s discovery.

The only real mistake is never trying.

Work your job. Take care of your responsibilities. But build on the side. Even if it’s 30 minutes a day. Start messy. Start small. Just start.

One day you’ll either say, “I’m glad I tried,” or “I wish I did.”

Choose the first one.
